Our annual visits with Danton were always a major yearly event for us --- as they would be for any devoted ERB fan.

Together we explored the remains of what used to be Tarzana Ranch and the gargantuan Burroughs Family Archives. There were always new treasures to unearth in sheds, storage lockers, the warehouse, shelves, boxes and forgotten suitcases. Our visits and long, long phone conversations with Dan came to an end after his sudden death in 2008. 

We are thrilled, however, to see that wife Linda and daughters, Llana Jane and Dejah, -- as well as the wonderful staff at ERB, Inc., and brother John, are keeping Danton's memory alive and are still expanding on the Burroughs family legacy.

And we are still looking forward to our visits with Linda and the chance to document the treasures in the house and in various storage lockers.

KEVIN CONRAN A highlight of this Tarzana Trek was a chance to finally meet and chat with Kevin Conran over lunch at Jerry's Deli.
Kevin and his brother Kerry produced the film Sky Captain, and were in line to do the John Carter of Mars film before a series of unfortunate events allowed Disney to pick up the option.
