Boog graduated from the Zurich University of Art and Design and graduated as a scientific illustrator HFG.
He began his career as an illustrator for German fanzines.
His great role model is Frank Frazetta and the illustrators of the so-called "old school" or the golden age of illustration.

As a freelance artist, Boog now often takes on orders for the advertising industry.
But he was also interested in topics from science fiction.
Among other things, he contributed to the illustration of the magazine EXODUS -
magazine for science fiction stories & fantastic graphics .
The Swiss Post has already issued ten stamps with his motifs.
Boog has been illustrating the “Schlagschatten” column of the NZZ Folio magazine since 2006 .
Angelo Boog lives with his wife and daughter in Wallisellen in the canton of Zurich .
